On August 15th, 2001, I went on my first trip to Denmark, and my very first trip to any Scandinavian country (unless you count a day in Helsinki about ten years ago, but I hardly got to see anything other then the airport then anyway).
This trip was partly to attend ALGO2001 in Århus, and partly to meet all my dear MUME friends, as I started playing this horrible game again in April. My particular thanks go to Peter/Zorin for being a wonderful guy, to Marieta/Ren, Steffen/Nardu, and Simon/Bailor for tolerating my antiques while I was staying at their place in Copenhagen, to Martin/Fëanor for coming from Sweden, and Jacob/Scar and again Steffen for organizing the two MUME meetings.
The pictures you see here have been modified to fit your screen and all inappropriate content was edited out. Read: I had to munch on them in Photoshop to make them look decent under 1024x768 and higher resolution. I recommend having your browser window at near full screen, as I felt really bad about more than halving the size of scans. Please tell me if you think I should make them even smaller. Colour levels have also been adjusted. Please send me e-mail or MUME mail if for some odd reason you would like to see full-resolution scans.
Lastly, I would like to apologize for the lateness of this all. I arrived back in the United States at 9pm on September 10th.
